I do not like. Looks like fun, would in the Nazi army (and later ran against his choice, but he always seems ill Pope John Paul II, before the Nazis to die) army, it was ridiculous when he made this statement disadvantages Jihad and how Muslims prayed in a Muslim country (who says that welcomed Christianity to Islam Muslims). Not only express what you say or do when the eyes of the world is in him. At least was a nun, because he stupid discourse of jihad killed.
However, Catholics believe the pope is infallible, but only in his teachings. Everything that he is not in the finding that no children who die without baptism go into limbo, which is not the teaching of the Church.
Well, what he did was clean up some of pedophile priests.
And while I think it's stupid, do not think I am stupid enough to marry a priest. This is the Catholic dogma of the Catholic and do not go there. He would be killed.

He would never. He is too old school. The next pope will be dramatic changes, married priests and women priests, are the most important. The first church followers were women - more importantly, Mary Magdalene, he even had his own gospel.
Probably not.
The celibate priest + +
The priests and religious (nuns) as part of their vocation to marry, not to the following:
+ It is recommended that in the Bible
+ In the example of Jesus, John the Baptist and the apostle Paul.
+ + + + + + Letter
In Matthew 19:12 Jesus says: "Some are incapable of marriage because they are born, some because they made so by others, some because they have renounced marriage for the cause, the kingdom of heaven. Who can accept this should to accept it. "
In Matthew 19:29 Jesus says, "And all who have given up houses or brothers or sisters, father, mother, children or fields for my sake will receive a hundredfold and inherit eternal life."
Matthew 22:30 - Jesus says: "In the resurrection they neither marry, given in marriage but are like angels in heaven."
In 1 Corinthians 7:1, Paul writes: "It's a good thing for a man not to touch WOMa. "
Then, in the 1st Corinthians 7:7, Paul said: "Yes, I want everyone to be like me."
In 1 Corinthians 7:27 says, Paul: "Are you free for a woman? So do not try a woman."
In 1 Corinthians 7:32-33, Paul teaches us: "I want to be free from worry. An unmarried man is with the things of the Lord, as the question asking the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the things of the world, as one of its Women's sake. "And in verse 38:" So, getting married, who his virgin, does well to not marry, they will make it better. "
Paul recommends celibacy for full-time minister in the Church, to be able to devote himself entirely to God and to build his empire. The "who renounced the marriage will go better."

+ + + Examples of Scripture + + +
Biblical models of a celibate priest came from John the Baptist, Jesus and the Apostle Paul.
John the Baptist and Jesus are both believed that celibacy was his whole life. Some researchers believe that the example of the influence of the Essenes, or Jesus and John the Baptist in their celibacy.
WWJD? What would Jesus do? Jesus never married.
The Apostle Paul about his celibacy (see 1 Corinthians explicitly. 7). It also appears in the Gospel of Matthew for the practice of celibacy in some Christian circles, in the famous passage about to "eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 19:12).
The concept has many twists and turns in recent years and is probably a little more before Christ returns in glory.
A priest is "married" to the church. Some people think that the priest who does not take seriously its responsibilities properly for the wife and family to care. "No one can serve two masters."
Pope Benedict XVI + +
Pope Benedict XVI chose the name Benedict for several reasons. In his papal audience, said April 27, 2005, his motivation for the announcementSelect the name.
"I appeal to Benedict XVI for the venerated Pope Benedict XV, who guided the Church in a time of turmoil because of World War II. It was a courageous and authentic prophet of peace and worked with valiant courage first to prevent the tragedy, and after the War to limit its negative consequences. In his footsteps I place my ministry in the service of reconciliation and harmony between people and nations deeply that the great good of peace is above all a gift from God, invoked safeguard a fragile and precious gift, and convinced build day after day with the support of all. "
Benedict XVI also said he had the name to select the spirit of St. Benedict, the founder of Western monasticism whose influence helped spread Christianity in Europe.
St. Benedict is much venerated in Germany, including Bavaria, my homeland. It is an essential reference for the unity of Europe and a strong reminder of the undeniable Christian roots of its culture and civilization. "

With love in Christ.
The law of celibacy was the subject of repeated attacks, especially in recent years and it is important from the outset, in order to correct some prejudices created. Although we in the New Testament that have an obligatory celibacy, or the apostles or those appointed to have shown, we see a major contract in the language of our Savior and St. Paul to the virgin to be the greatest appeal, and by inference, as a condition befitting those who make themselves from the work of the ministry. In Mat XIX, 12, Christ clearly honors those who, in the interests of the kingdom of God "remained outside the state of matrimony, but adds:" Who can accept this should accept l ". St. Paul is even clearer:
I wish all the people like me, but everyone has his own gift from God .... But I say to the unmarried and widows, it's good for them if they continue as I, 1 Corinthians 7:7-8
No, not the church.
Of course not! It is a very conservative pope.
Benedict is a reactionary who confirmed as head of the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, celibacy and against the marriage of priests.
There are and have always been married priests. Theologically, no problem. Politically, it is a bone of contention, and the bishops of the Church of America, control of the money. Peter was married. It is even likely that Jesus was married, because as a "rabbi" if a title is usually granted only to married men was directed.

I think that is unlikely in the extreme. The man, who shows every sign of a return to be as conservative as the executor of John Paul II.
