My red cell and hematocrit levels are low, about 2 to 5 points low. How would that effect shoulder surgery? - arthroscopic surgeon
This was discovered by a physical examination to see if he could undergo shoulder surgery () arthroscopic rotator cuff. I had back surgery before 4.5 months with no problems, while anemia. I do not know if my doctor scheduled surgery - one to 1.5 months in the future by reading or what can be done to improve quickly.

Probably does not matter, make sure you have plenty of iron. If it is too weak to do the operation because we reduce the risk of bleeding more than usual, or the risk of heart failure result when the hematocrit of less than 20 and not on oxygen. The operation will also bring as many points if you make sure that they are strong enough for surgery and real down to one point. Good luck.
