I have a JT paintball mask and it works well. I asked myself what is the view of the lens. The sun, perhaps? I understand that Speedball make a mask visor.

Mainly for the sun? Not so sure, but it works. This is a safety feature occasional shot. It covers the air holes in the rim of his glasses. If she is deported, and you get a really strange shot glasses at the beginning, you can damage eyes, or at least get some color on the eyes.
The screen is for the sun and rain. Depending on your screen, most viewers are removable.
